my story.

As a bicultural, second-career child of immigrant parents, I know this terrain not just clinically but from the inside — the parts of myself that learned to adapt, hold it together, and quietly set aside my own needs and desires for what's practical and less risky. The patterns and beliefs inherited from family history and the experience of acculturation. And the ongoing work of honoring the gifts of resilience and connection that live within all of it.

My own path has led me through the very modalities and practices that now shape this work — and I know what’s possible when safety becomes something you carry within you. The difference between true settling into ease and the numbness that masquerades as calm. The sense of choice that emerges on the other side of bracing and learned fear.

What the journey taught me — and what every client continues to teach me — is that there is a deep healing intelligence and vitality alive in each of us that never disappears, even when we feel most disconnected from it.

I don't come to this work as an expert who fixes or directs. I come as a guide and fellow traveler — someone who has gathered some useful maps and tools — who knows how to hold space for the hardest terrain and the truth of your system's innate capacity to heal. It's a journey I'm still on — and it has brought more clarity, more ease, and more of myself than I once thought possible.
